Job Opportunities
*

Master's graduates in Scientific Instrumentation will be qualified to work
in industry, in research institutes or as engineering consultants. With
their broad knowledge in engineering physics as well as in precision
engineering they are especially prepared to perform interdisciplinary work.
Their strength is the application of scientific knowledge to engineering
problems. A Master's graduate in Scientific Instrumentation will be able to
serve as the link between pure scientists and engineers in an
interdisciplinary workgroup. He or she will be prepared to cope with new
application problems by being trained in systematic analysis and diagnosis
of a problem as well as in methods of finding solutions.

Typical employment areas in industry are research and development of novel
apparatus and devices, the supervision of hightech processes or tasks in
quality control, in research institutes in areas of work like physics
technology, process engineering, biomedical research, earth and
environmental science, aviation and astronautics.

The Master's degree in Scientific Instrumentation also qualifies the
graduate for further study to award a PhD.

May God help you as you seek a brighter future!
